Medigames
The Medigames is an annual sporting event for medical professionals.
Over the course of a week, competitors from all over the world compete in more than 20 different sports and disciplines.
Created in 1978, the Medigames are based on the values of confraternity and sporting passion, as well as the fundamental principles of Olympism.
Alongside the competitions, an International Sports Medicine Symposium is being organised over 4 days. It brings together sportsmen and women and practitioners from all over the world to discuss and exchange views on issues relating to medicine and sport.
On the programme: themed papers presented by the scientific committee, as well as free papers from participants whose presentations have been selected, opening the way for discussions on sports medicine.
Every year, the Medigames provide the host city with around 10,500 overnight stays.
