1 – ELIGIBILITY

Mundigolf is the World Golf Cup for Bar Associations Lawyers’ Team (4 players), strictly reserved for members of the international legal community. With no preliminary qualifying rounds, the tournament is open to players of all levels of golfing ability.
The competition is open to women and men alike. Teams of 4 players can be mixed or single-sex. The organisers will adjust the tee times for female players to ensure sporting fairness among all participants.
Players must hold a valid golf handicap issued by a recognised federation or by the World Handicap System (WHS) must be registered to take part.

2.1 – TEAM REGISTRATION

Registration is exclusively reserved for teams made up of:
• Barristers, solicitors or former members of a bar
• Other legal professionals (notaries, judges, court officials, whether practicing or retired).
• And more generally, any person who can provide proof of a qualification certifying a minimum of 3 years of higher legal education

2.2 – SPECIAL CASES FOR STUDENTS AND OTHER CONCESSIONARY PLAYERS

Each team has the option to supplement its squad by submitting a registration application for a player who does not meet the criteria of Article 2.1.
An exceptional player application may be considered for:
• A student who has passed at least one year of higher legal education
• A permanent employee of a law firm, a notary's practice or a court.

To be admissible, these requests must be sent to the organising committee before 15 April 2027.
Compliance with these conditions is imperative but not sufficient to guarantee the player's acceptance: the final decision rests with the tournament's sports committee.
Exempt players cannot have a handicap index lower than 18.
